Lead and Innovate at the Earth Precision Agriculture Conference

Special Tracks are a cornerstone of the Earth Precision Agriculture Conference, providing a distinctive platform for in-depth exploration of emerging research, innovative methodologies, and cross-disciplinary challenges.

These Special Tracks are designed to foster engagement, meaningful networking, and deeper collaboration among a diverse community of stakeholders, including researchers, innovators, investors, industry leaders, and agricultural organizations. By leading a Special Track, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the conversation in your field, driving knowledge exchange and inspiring action on a global stage.

We invite passionate experts from all sectors to submit a proposal, particularly those eager to bring together a community of practitioners, researchers, and trainees to address key challenges and uncover new opportunities in agriculture.

As a multi-stakeholder conference, we are dedicated to bringing together the entire agri-food ecosystem to accelerate digital transformation and advance sustainability, resilience, and food security. We welcome proposals that align with, but are not limited to, the following cross-cutting themes and primary conference categories:

  • Sustainability and environmental stewardship
  • Economic viability and profitability
  • Food security and nutrition
  • Climate resilience and adaptation
  • Innovation and technology adoption
  • Rural development
  • Precision farming systems and production methods
  • Data acquisition, analysis, and management
  • Automation, robotics, and smart machinery
  • Supply chain and traceability innovations
  • Policy, regulation, and social impact

Leading a special issue is a significant undertaking that offers high visibility and impact. This role is best suited for established researchers and practitioners with a strong editorial background and a wide network of contacts in their field. Ideal candidates typically possess:

  • A strong publication record in the proposed topic area.
  • Prior experience as a guest editor, associate editor, or editor-in-chief for academic journals.
  • Demonstrated ability to attract high-quality submissions from leading researchers globally.
  • Commitment to managing a rigorous and timely peer-review process.

To ensure a clear and consistent submission process, please adhere to the following guidelines for your proposal document. Your proposal should be a single PDF document of 2-3 pages and include the following sections:

  • Title and Abstract: A concise title for your Special Track and a 200-300 word abstract that summarizes the topic, objectives, and intended audience.
  • Rationale and Objectives: A brief explanation of why the topic is timely and relevant, and what you aim to achieve with the Special Track.
  • Timeliness and Relevance: A statement on the novelty of the topic and its significance to the precision agriculture community.
  • Organizer(s) Biographies: Brief biographies (150 words per organizer) of the individuals who will be leading the Special Track.

The Earth Precision Agriculture Conference is committed to the success of our Special Tracks. Our dedicated team will provide comprehensive support to ensure your track is professional, visible, and impactful. This support includes:

  • Dedicated Web Design Team: A professionally designed webpage for your Special Track on the official conference website.
  • Graphic Design: Custom graphics and promotional materials to enhance your track's visibility.
  • Integrated Communication: Promotion of your track through our official communication channels, including newsletters and social media.
  • Submission and Review System: A complete submission and peer-review management system to handle papers and abstracts for your track.

In this partnership, the responsibilities of the Special Track leadership team will be to:

  • Develop a Call for Papers: Create a detailed call for papers specific to your track's theme and scope.
  • Promote the Track: Collaborate with our team to publicize the event and attract high-quality submissions from your network.
  • Oversee the Review Process: Manage the peer-review process for your track to ensure the scientific rigor and quality of accepted papers.
  • Proposal Submission Deadline: April 1, 2026
  • Notification of Acceptance: April 15, 2026

We are excited to offer organizers the opportunity to extend the impact of their Special Track through a dedicated special issue in a reputable journal. If you are interested in this opportunity, please indicate your interest in the submission form. You will have the option to express your interest in either leading or contributing to a special issue. In case you plan to lead a special issue in a specific journal, please indicate the name of the journal and briefly mention why that is a perfect fit.
